How easy is it to look after (i.e. clean)?

Is it a pain in the arse to do one cup of coffee?

What do I need to know before buying one?

I have a magimix espresso machine, it make lovely coffee with a bag of Starbucks strong coffee (the one they use for their own drinks).

Since you ask, I have a Giotto by ECM. It makes divine espresso, great frothing ability, but I would only recommend to the truely committed.
