I have a magimix espresso machine, it make lovely coffee with a bag of Starbucks strong coffee (the one they use for their own drinks).

I can vouch for hoxtonchick's coffee maker - I had one on Monday...mmmmmmmmm

Since you ask, I have a Giotto by ECM. It makes divine espresso, great frothing ability, but I would only recommend to the truely committed.
