thanks for the reply RR. In the past I have bought whatever is on the shelf in the supermarket but then i wear them maybe twice and they get put in the cupboard and that's it. But this time I want to make sure I really do where them whenever I am washing up etc so I thought if I had some really nice ones it would help.

I buy the Lakeland ambidextrous ones. They are good because I find i find the right hand wears out first and I end up with loads of left handers.

Extra long ones prevent the water getting in (which I HATE)!!!!! You can get them at our local hardware shop and they even make leopard print ones with fake bangles

themoon66 · 04/07/2008 12:14

Ah... just checked Lakeland website and they don't appear to do them any more.

Definitely the ones without that horrible flocked lining which gives me eczema.

Now, what are they called...?

SoupKitchen · 04/07/2008 12:18

I like Marigolds, because the have the rolled edge at the top.
Most others tend to make my hands very sweaty, and are impossible to get off quickly when I need to help out the Dc with the million and one things that always need doing at that particular moment.

Satin Touch, that's it. From supermarkets.

MuffinMclay · 04/07/2008 12:53

Waitrose sensitive skin ones. All others I've tried make my eczema flare up.

thank you all very much for the replies. I shall make sure I look for extra long ones as I think that used to happen to me Legoleia and that's why I stopped using them.
I do't think i have sensitive skin so maybe I'll just try the marigolds although i like the sound of leopard print ones!!
