Can anyone recommend a good trampoline with enclosure, not too expensive and suitable to take light-ish adults?
It is for dd who is only 2 but we want to be able to use it as well

we bought ours from b&q. trampoline and enclosure together cost £99 i think... not much more anyway. it's a 6ft one which is all we have space for. we're delighted with it - ds asks to go on it every day unless it's lashing it down. a bargain imo!

ja9 · 02/07/2008 20:27

oh, forgot to add that daddy goes on it with him after work most days. he's over 6ft and not light.

charliecat · 02/07/2008 20:27

10ft one with enclosure from focus do it all. Anything smaller is not so god for adults. We had an 8 ft and upgraded.

charliecat · 02/07/2008 20:28

oh 99 quid i meant to say

foxythesnowfox · 02/07/2008 20:29

lots of cheap ones around - I got mine for £80 from Netto, including enclosure. I was thinking you get what you pay for, but actually its not bad. Its 10ft. Aldi were also doing them, and Asda had a cheap 7.5ft one too.

It wasn't too hard to put together either - once we worked out we'd put the original frame upside down and had to take it apart and start again. Doh!

tassisssss · 02/07/2008 20:29

oooh, charliecat, 10 foot for £99?! was that recent? i'm off to google!

Nemoandthefishes · 02/07/2008 20:31

we got a 8ft one in b+q yesterday that was £105 and its fab..holds all three fishes [4,2 and 1] and dh[or me if I venture on]

DC had been asking for around 6mths for one and am soo glad we bought it as they have had a fab time on it today

Nemoandthefishes · 02/07/2008 20:32

oh and it took us 1hr to put it all together...very easy to do

Hulababy · 02/07/2008 20:32

We have the one from Asda: 7.5 foot for £70 inc enclosure. I can go on it but DH is over the weight limit. The bouncing area is about 6 foot. Our garden can't take one any larger, so this is our maximum but will alst DD for ages. And have to say that I have been suprised at how good it seems especially for the price.

charliecat · 02/07/2008 20:32

a month or so ago

ja9 · 02/07/2008 20:33

oops, ours is 8ft, not 6ft - if that makes any difference!

tassisssss · 02/07/2008 20:44

charliecat, spotted it, thanks! and discovered there's a focus not far away!

tassisssss · 02/07/2008 20:45

B&Q 12 foot one is reduced, have to buy enclosure separately but still comes to around £150

sammysam · 02/07/2008 20:59

Wow-thanks everyone-thats a few to look into! So will a 6ft one be too small? We aren't planning on using it much-it will be mainly dd.
Our garden is long but thin so don't want it too big!

yep, advice i've heard is to buy the biggest one that you have room for. the bigger the better .

sammysam · 02/07/2008 21:04

Can i put it on a patio? If i can the garden is wider there so we could get a bigger one! Or is that very unsafe?

OP posts:
Nemoandthefishes · 02/07/2008 21:07

think with an enclosure it should be ok as they dont come off it just more concerned about the getting on and off

sammysam · 02/07/2008 21:22

Good point fishes! At the mo she'll need getting on and off by me but she'll do it on her own at some point so grass might be safer!
