Duckies baby shoes

Has anyone tried these? Their advert keeps popping up on SM. I’m considering buying for a 1 year old child who is pulling to stand but not yet walking. The house has hard floors and I’m worried about slipping.
There are no reviews of the company on Trustpilot

Shoes should not be worn until baby has been confidently walking for at least six weeks; they should be barefoot until then.

They need to be able to feel the ground properly, use their toes naturally, gain foot and ankle strength, develop their balance and coordination and a natural walking pattern.

Shoes are a hindrance to healthy foot development.

They’re not exactly shoes - they are more like socks with a thin rubberised sole

And I didn’t need your advice, I’m already well aware of it.
I was asking opinions on a product and company.

I know what they are. Okay, you want to be pedantic about the word, that’s fine.

Regardless of whether it’s a shoe or a sock or a sole or a binbag or a fish, anything covering the feet when they are learning to walk is a hindrance to healthy foot development.

Check out slip free

Awful we hated them - just kept falling off my little boys feet even when the right size.

Honestly love crocs but people will say they arnt good for development but they are easy wash, easy pop on and off, stay on.

I didn’t ask for your rather pointed advice.
I asked if anyone had used this company/product, but thanks for your input.

I would either have them barefoot, it’s still mild so a totally reasonable option, or if they’re still not walking in winter just socks with normal grips on the bottom.

I gave advice because most people don’t know that barefoot is best and anything else hinders healthy foot development.

I would absolutely have wanted to be told if I was doing something that would be detrimental to my child. I’m so sorry that I thought you would too.

I would say they are shows, they look nothing like socks

They don’t live here, they live in a cold part of the world. Hence my enquiry- they like being outside and their feet get cold.

The uppers are soft fabric so I guess they are a mixture.

Thank you for your relevant reply. If they keep coming off I guess more trouble than they’re worth.

@Mooselander It wasn’t the advice but your finger wagging tone I found objectionable.

It’s still August, I can’t imagine there’s any place where it’s necessary for a non walking 1 year old to be in shoes outside.

Thank you everyone for your advice, and
i have decided not to buy - it was a bit of an impulse idea really. More sensible to get something for the baby during our stay.
