It's time for first pair of shoes - which ones?

DD is walking now and needs some proper footwear. Have no clue what's best Any advice?

i know, i guess i'm just realising that the true cost of parenthood is only just beginning. till about a month ago she was still living in gifted clothes - suddenly there's oh so much shopping to do! (actually VERY excited about taking her to get her first pair of shoes.)

DD now proud owner of some little red pre-walkers. Only using them on trips on dirty pavements where broken glass dangers, otherwise still barefoot for now. Buying first shoes brought tear to the eye - little girl growing up!
