I bought an Ergo recently and really like it except that I wish DD was higher and also i find it impossible to do up the chest strap when she's on my front.

I've just tried a Beco and really like it. On my back she's so high she can just about see over my shoulder. In the ergo she's just staring at my back.

I think I want to sell my Ergo and get a Beco. Only thing is the hood is a bit rubbish compared to the Ergo's which is great.

Is there a third way I should be considering?

I'll try and hold out for the sling show in July and try a few then but just wanted to solicit opinion in the meantime.

The slingshow is wonderful - I went last year with DS, and it was just sooo nice to see all these babies and toddlers in slings, people giving their babies 'real' food, and bfing older babies/toddlers. That was when I entered the world of MeiTais..

The Yahoo UKBabywearingswap group is great for buying second hand slings - much cheaper than new, and if you find you don't like it, then can sell on for much the same cost.
