Any recommendations for a portable clothes steam cleaner??

Hi

I would love a steam cleaner but am looking for recommendations. I want one to steam clothes and also for bedding, so it needs to be portable. But I'm not fussed about taking it on holiday, so it doesn't need to be tiny!

I have looked at a few but then get put off by bad reviews, even when there are a few good ones. So I just wondered if anyone had one and would recommend it.

Thank you! x

Watching as I am also after one. I nearly bought the Steamery lite earlier today as I want it for travel. However was put off as well with a few bad reviews. Watching in the hope of a recommendation

Which recommended: Fridja at around £70 came top followed by Phillips 5000 at £60 and their best buy/ great value is the Russell Hobbs Genie at about £30. Hope that helps.

I just got the Phillips 7000 and love it! Finally upgraded from the cheap £10 Amazon one we’ve had for 5 years which did the job but had its down sides and I couldn’t use it horizontally for bedding. This one really wasn’t cheap but there was a flash deal on Amazon and so far it’s worth every penny. The head tilts so you can use it upright or horizontally too and it comes with 2 water tanks, a small one for quick garment use or travel and a larger one if doing a bigger batch or large area.
I also looked up some YouTube videos for steaming tips and found that apparently if you don’t put thr head flat to the garment but instead touch the top part and just ever so slightly lean out it reduces or stops any splutter. Not sure if it’s the steamer or the technique but so far so good.
