Buying from Instagram/ tiktok/ YouTube shorts ads

Good morning. I wonder if anyone else has bought from the sort of persistent social media ads and what their experience products are? ( Aka" viral" products )
I am shocked and disgusted at the amount of stuff I bought, especially over Christmas - In my defence I am a mum of two young children who tries to use the reels to stay awake and makes terrible decisions when tired!

The two I'm super curious about are the slivor Ear cleaning kit. It looks so satisfying but is it actually real? Also the hoppi pram hammock thing.

I bought the little side sling (senera I think it's called) that was a waste of money, took so long to arrive. It's barely any easier than just carrying them and doesn't roll up small like a fabric sling.
One of many regrets, I'm afraid, it would be quite long and boring to list them all here!

But then it did also introduce me" to who gives a crap" toilet roll which has been a bit of a game changer and literally saved our butts in lockdown. ( No, this is not an ad!!)

These ads all plagued me for months before ( I am ashamed to say) I bought them.

How about you? Any brilliant buys? Regrets? Any that just keep popping up and you're not sure on?

I bought some sterling silver earrings for about £8 - with a stone that was meant to be like a raindrop from TT. DD1 said it was her favourite present 😂
I gave in to Halara shorts last summer and now own 5 more Halara items which I’ve been v pleased with
And a scrubbing brush fo the stone tiled floor in the kitchen
Also gave in to Laura Geller and really like the Baked powder foundation

I tend to google the products and look at reviews. Overall I have been pleased with what I have bought.

At present I’m being shown heated styling wands. I haven’t used one for years and they are not expensive. I think that people with thin fine and flat hair such as myself repeatedly spend money on products that don’t deliver so it’s just one of those things 🤷🏼‍♀️. It’s a lot cheaper than the Babyliss Big Hair which disappointed me so much 😂

Oh same here with the hair products! I like the bayliss for a door lift but nothing ever works for proper curls. It takes me ages to do them and they fall out. But I guess Instagram figure that out. And now I keep seeing the automatic curling wand and thinking maybe....
