20 week old baby on holiday....?

at the moment my baby is in our pram - a micralite which is great but we're going on holiday in a few weeks when our baby will be 19/20 weeks. I think it's too young for the stroller on the toro but what do I put him in - as I obviously can't take the pram...any ideas? Thanks - I'm a first timer and not sure what I'm meant to do...

get an umbrella fold stroller from somewhere, ebay (?) cheaply.

why can't you take the pram?

we took the pram part of DS's "travel system" so he could lie flat in it

no probs getting it on the plane or anything like that

certainly take the pram

we went away with dd at 7wks, packed the carrycot inside one of the holdalls (filled with clothes etc) and checked the chassis, though we could have wheeled it right up to the gate.

check your airline's policy.

I'd take your pram.

When DS was about the same age we took a very cheap old umbrella stroller to Italy... and I spent all holiday with pram envy.

It was the only time I wanted to loose our luggage at the airport. But did it happen ?

Of course not.

oh and I see the Micralite carrycot actually folds flat (not that you'd want to do it regularly) whch makes it even easier.

Put ds in a sling for the journey, take carrycot flat in suitcase/holdall, and either check the chassis (in a travel bag if you are worried) or wheel it to the gate.

Dead easy.

goodness, such a good idea - I didn't think for one moment I could/should actually take the pram but you lovely ladies are quite right - of course that's the answer. Clearly new mother brain making things more complicated than they actually are!
