I think I remember something about junkfood advertising to under 12's
All of a sudden cocopaps are not mentioning breakfast or cereals?

Hulababy · 09/06/2008 17:45

Myeb sales have dropped recently, so they are taking on a new marketing angle.

cocolepew · 09/06/2008 17:46

Cocopos aren't junkfood, they're little drops of delight...

cornsilk · 09/06/2008 17:46

cocopops aren't junkfood - tut!

cocolepew · 09/06/2008 17:46

COCOPOPS not poos

OverMyDeadBody · 09/06/2008 17:48

They're probably not technically classed as junk food.

the legislation cam in on the 1st April, but children's channels have been given a gradual phasing out period till the end of december 2008.

I bought tescos own branded coco pops, but they just aren't the same. I love them, I eat them out of the box.

cocolepew · 09/06/2008 18:24

I give the Tescos ones' to the DCs and I eat the Cocopops

jingleyjen · 09/06/2008 18:27

Don't get me wrong I like cocopops but I really don't want DS1 to know how delicious they are otherwise he won't be eating other cereals.

nothing wrong with cocopops, don't like them myself mind

My DC eat non-sugary cereal during the week and have things like cocopops etc as their weekend breakfast treat, bless them they do look forward to their 'breakfast treat'
