Are there any decent “boneless sofas” that also aren’t huge?

We are not well off ant the moment and live in a very small home. Currently have a v elderly sofa and a giant bean bag, but we’d love a comfy sofa and OH has seen these foam ones online. Are they worth it?
I do remember having a foam fold-out sofa as a kid (bought for the lounge in the 80s, used as a bed for sleepovers by my friends in the 90s) which was great. Are they still worth the money?

I can't answer your question, but you might like to look at the British Heart Foundation for a second hand sofa.

When DD moved into an unfurnished flat all her furniture except for her bed came from them.

The ones that sort of pop up and expand from the box like a mattress? Reviews I've seen have been awful,I think you'd be better looking secondhand as previous poster said. Or look for a small futon or similar

People are always selling (or even giving away) sofas on my local Facebook page. There will be a local ‘man with a van’ type service to collect it if you don’t have transport. Worth a look.

Agree with PP to look at charity furniture shops too.

Charity shops selling furniture is the better option, as per previous suggestions

I have just remembered that many years ago we had a foam fold out sofa. It wasn't very comfortable as a sofa or a bed.

If you live in the south east and want a leather sofa Im clearing out my mum's house!
