Where can I buy a waterproof mattress cover from, that is fitted (single bed) and has a towelling or other soft fabric on the top?

towelling covered ones are the best for being soft and not crinkly. try john lewis and also bhs

John Lewis. Make sure you get the waterproof towelling one not just the towelling one (they are easy to mix up

Have washed ours too no problem (king size) in the machine, just hung it over the bannisters to dry (don't put it in the dryer)
