I have about £1,000 to spend. I would rather spend £20 but have been told they're a little more than that these days.

Love the thought of a mac!

So what do you suggest?

(I miss hub... he'd be in like a shot giving me specs etc... not that I know anything about specs sigh..)

Right... so next week I'll be buying a WHITE MacBook!

The following week I will be selling my children, Parachutes will sell hers and we'll timeshare a MacAir!

Brilliant!

Now... which MacBook will be best? Or did you tell me that already?

So I could get the 2.4 because that has even more oomph and is just as pretty?

[lusts mournfully in the AirBook direction]

Have washed and polished ds ready for sale.
Will wax him later.

If you want it for web browsing, Word & excel then you would be fine with the one one the left...though I would go for the mid-range with 2GB Memory (RAM) as it does make all the difference when you run more than one package etc. (it's the middle one in the link that DisplacementActivity gave you).

Right... so I'm going for a WHITE MacBook with 2 gigahertzmega wotsits!
