Galvanised copper colour garden containers/ planters (help finding)

I keep drawing a blank with my google search, even enlisted chatGPT.

I have a modern large outbuilding, black bifolds with decking and I’m after some long galvanised copper colour planters to plant grasses in, but can’t seem to find anything.. long enough or low enough.

i don’t mind metal black either but I saw a renovation TV show and they had some in a copper colour, maybe it’s zinc? that looked lovely.

I’m fairly central so can get to B&Qs etc but would rather see them in person.

oh and budget isn’t an issue as they won’t be going anywhere for 15+ years.

Do you like the corten steel planters that naturally age with a rust coloured patina?

Yep, corten steel is what you're after I reckon.

Hold on. Copper isn't galvanized, that makes no sense.
Natural copper is shiny pink/brown weathering to brown like a 1p coin
Oxidised copper is light green
Galvanized steel (zinc coated) is a light silver with a patchy texture
Natural steel rusts to a dark red brown

Which colour are you after?

The planters on this site are galvanised steel with different coloured paints (copper colour, black, grey etc) or cor-ten steel which is that rust colour.

I saw someone on Instagram spray paint an old filing cabinet to use as a long planter, it looked really good (on its back, obviously!)

Oh fabulous that’s the exact ones I think I saw.

Yikes they are as suspected very expensive, but hopefully some think I only have to buy once.

Came here to say corten it's very in currently. I work in landscaping.

Just be wary op. Corten will stain any water runoff which will then stain any porus paving beneath with red rust. A gravel bed underneath will sort the problem or you can get corten 'effect' like fiberglass pots painted with the effect or I have heard of 'sealed' corten which might stop the staining.

Oh great advice thank you, the office building area is lower in our garden so it’s away from any patios, gravels and the planters will be placed by the side of the decking directly on the grass. So hopefully will be OK but good to know if we move them in the future.

I can just picture someone using them in a perfect patio area and then the staining ruining the slabs.

We really need landscaping help, but have no clue where to start looking for people.

Loving the idea of paying extra for one that's already rusted 😂
