Help me find this...

...Because my 8 month old breastfed DD won't take a bottle, im looking for a product that has a spout like the tommee tippee cup but that is bigger and can be used for warm milk, (the TT cup is perfect but can only be used for cold drinks apparently)...

Does such a thing exist? Id be so pleased to find such a product!

Avent bottles have spouts that go with them - there used to be a soft rubbery one, or a harder plastic one (this was a few years ago, mind). And handle things that go over them.

JackieNo · 15/05/2008 15:54

This is the more flexible rubbery one?

Mmm, that looks almost perfect, but if the spout is too much like a teat, she will refuse it. She likes a hard spout. Thankyou though!!!

They are quite rigid, and a very different shape from a teat - hope it works.

Washersaurus · 15/05/2008 16:01

Oh I use a TT little sippy cup with warm milk in for my boys with no probs - also we have a larger TT 'kids on the go' one with a similar spout.

We never got on with the valves on the avent cups (AND you have to deconstruct them into several pieces to clean them)

EdieMcredie · 15/05/2008 16:05

Washersaurus-Are the spouts on the Avent ones similar to TT? I might buy one of each as they are not too pricey...

OP posts:
Washersaurus · 15/05/2008 16:10

They are both hard spouts but the avent one doesn't flip down like the TT ones. I can't find any of the bigger TT cups locally at the moment - we could do with some more now DS2 is drinking from cups too.

Washersaurus · 15/05/2008 16:11

Have found them on their website though

We have a quick quencher one too which is OK

EdieMcredie · 15/05/2008 16:33

This is fantastic-have them all on my favourites now

And they are all okay for warm drinks?

OP posts:
Washersaurus · 15/05/2008 16:36

I'm sure I have put the super sipper type one in the microwave to warm milk in; we have definitely used it with warm drinks in without a problem anyway...We haven't tried the quick quencher one with warm drinks though as just tend to use that one for water when out and about.

EdieMcredie · 16/05/2008 18:27

I assume the super sipper can be sterilised?? £8 for 4 isn't bad!!

OP posts:
Washersaurus · 16/05/2008 22:20

Sterilised? Umm I doubt it as has a sticker all around the cup...I suppose the top bit with spout could be sterilised on its own though. TBH I have never sterilised any cups, I just rinse them and stick them in the dishwasher.

EdieMcredie · 17/05/2008 08:12

Oh right, we don't have a dishwasher. Im looking for something that can be sterilised really...maybe the Avent ones can. This is a complicated business

nappyaddict · 17/05/2008 09:31

i wouldn't bother sterilsing it. just give it a wash in hot, soapy water. i can recommend the avent magic cup one.
