im probably mad asking this but why is it that despite being heavier some pushchairs feel lighter than those that are actually lighter?? i want a rear facing pushchair and was thinking of the linear freeway-i've had a 3d and that felt heavy and unsturdy.
because this has suspension and one handle bar, will it fell lighter to push?? i'm probabaly asking the stupidest question but i need to know!

I have a m&p o3 series and cant lift it into the boot of car BUT its so easy to push around and feels lighter than my pramette to push. Think its because of the big wheels and they are pump up one. hth

Big wheels and air filled tyres help massively but the weight balance of the buggy plays a big part.

Rear facing buggy seats place most of the child's weight over the front wheels making it far more difficult to tip back when climbing kerbs or steps. Front facing ones put the weight on the back axle also making steering easier.

The centre of gravity also makes a difference. For example, Maclarens have a low centre of gravity which helps maneoverobility (sp?) but I have always found M&P Plikos quite difficult to push with their quite high C of G.
