Anyone care to recommend a detangler spray for toddler hair?

Since dd often won't let me put normal conditioner in her hair, and then screams and/or cries when I comb it, I figure a spray detangler is the way to go. A quick google has confirmed that such things exist, so can anyone recommend a good one or warn about a bad one?

Not curly lulu, but dh and I both have lots of thick hair, which she seems to be inheriting.

Ah, Lulumama, your regime sound v similar to ours. Deffo agree re high maintenance (Ds has short hair that only needs a quick flick with your fingers, doesn't even need brushing, let along a chuffing 5 step programme!)

Absolutely no one in our family has curly hair. I touched an electric fence when I was about 20 weeks pregnant with DD and I'm pretty sure that is the explanation for hers!

Modern Organic Products pear detangler is great
my dd is very very curly (corkscrew ringlets that quickly become dreads) pic on my profile!

Will pop out tomorrow when I am at work and get the Boots one as that sounds lovely (dd1 has curly hair but now she'll let me put conditioner on it if i let her loose with the shower head )

DD1 pic is on my profile from her 'i want my hair cut short ' phase demand conversation that I started an AIBU thread about (thankfully she hasnt mentioned it since phew)

Ah, yes, CD - we sometimes use to MOP pear detangler as well - tis very good.

We used to use the Paul Mitchell one, but instead of a spray you actually need a tangle teezer. Brushes even the thickest, tangliest hair without causing crying. It does take a bit longer than normal brushing because it gets the knots out v. gently, but dd(6) is such a convert that she now happily brushes her own (fine, curly and masses of it) hair

We have an avone one lurking at the back of the cupboard, not used it for a while as her hair is currently shortish but when we did use it I found it to be really good and not very expensive

Omg I can't even begin to explain the dramas we used to have with our daughter her hair is long (past her bum now and she's only 4) it thick and seems to manage to knot it's self like mad every night, she will not even let us talk of cutting her rapunzel hair, so brushing the knots out was becoming a morning nightmare that me and my partner rock paper scissors for the pleasure of doing ?? this was until at a baby show and after trying everything else we stumbled upon The child's farm detangler spray, it's organic which is s big must for us plus smells great which is a nice change from others we tried, few sprays and with the added help of the brush too I can honestly say our lives have changed, might sound dramatic but for those with little girls with long thick knotty hair, trust me give it a go I am so pleased I found them at the baby show! (So is my daughter) Anyway sorry for the rambling on but I get a little to carried away sometimes lol
