Best Uk grocery Shopping card/ scheme

What is the best Uk Grocery shop points scheme? I feel because I bounce from Sainsbury’s/ Tesco/ Asda/ Lidl/Morrisons I never really get the best value from the “points” systems so I’m wondering has anyone advice on which is the best? We are a family of 4 and I want to start to budget better into 2025!
we are typically fine with all of the shops listed, as we buy fairly generic stuff each week.
TIA

Money Saving Expert will probably have a web page all for it to calculate the true relative monetary value.

Personally I think the best thing is to pick one and then really max it out, which it sounds like you are aiming for.

We've picked Sainsbury’s because we were mostly shopping there or Tesco, and we can convert Nectar to Avios. With the price of flights being so much in school holidays, we focus every way we can on collecting Avios and we've saved thousands of pounds/ actually been able to book flights we wouldn't otherwise have been able to.

With Tesco, you can get double the face value by redeeming with their partner organisations, so it's a very good way of getting entry to Merlin parks or vouchers towards restaurants.

I think realistically you'll save more money shopping at Lidl regardless of points. Nectar points for example = 0.5p for every £1 you spend which is tiny (0.5%!) whereas the difference between Lidl and Sainsbury's for identical £100 'big shops' will be around £10 (so 10%)

Something I really rate is using Jam Doughnut to buy gift cards for your chosen supermarket. You purchase on your phone, then scan the barcode at the till. Depending on the supermarket you normally get 2-3% back, which is much higher than any supermarket reward scheme.

I've joined Tesco Christmas savers because you can top up online now.
