Pushchair junkies - is there anything rear facing that isn't enormous

Not a Loola. Just sold one

I have a Bebecar Stylo, but it's massive and taking up way too much room.

Must be rear facing as my FIL regularly provides a baby walking service (which is essential to the smooth running of this household) and is one of his 'bug bears' about modern pushchairs!

I have about £200 to spend

We have a wee porch and our buggy lives in there. The maui is in the corner of one of the downstairs rooms though, but only because I put it up to take photos with a view to putting on ebay and haven't folded it down again!

or put it on ebay for that matter and there's so much clutter in here that you barely even notice it;s there

DO you know anything at all about the Britax, misdee? I've seen you consistently recommend the hauck and I'm torn between that and the Britax. I pushed it in Mothercare while I was pregnant but didn't get it in the end because it wouldn't fit in my car. It felt great to push though.

i 'know' of a man who works for britax, and he has made the seats on the bitax vigour 3+ and4+ bigger and more adjustable than the old 3 and 4 models. i know someone has tried the 3+ but didnt keep it long. havent seen one in the flesh or pushed one so cant really comment.

I've got the Vigour 4 (last year's version !) The new + models fold up smaller becuse there is now a fold in the seat (misdees clever friend - a great idea). With my one the seat has to be forward facing in order to fold up as one unit - don't know about the plus models. I love mine, easy to manoevere with one hand, hight adjustable handle a necessity in my house and ds seems comfy in it too.

Thanks littone

Will it free stand when folded? Could you imagine it stored in an understair cupboard?!

Hello - I have a Mamas and Papas modo 7-in-1 which has a pram/buggy bit which you can put facing in or facing out. I would recommend it - although a bit pricy new (but we got ours cheap). My In-Laws bought it as a gift and were adamant it had to face both ways as they think it helps baby development (perhaps they are right! Wasn't going to argue either as it was a pressie..)

It looks pretty huge when all together but I store the wheels in the hall and the top bits in the living room so not so bad.

Is the Pliko Switch bigger than the ordinary Pliko when it's folded?

I think it's heavier than the Loola, but could stay in the cupboard folded.
