Have waited so long and procrastinated so much have decided to look at getting one of these new-fangled oval trampolines.

Does anyone have one? Any good? Jumpking or Springfree?

It's for a 3.5 year old who goes to trampolining classes and hopefully to last a while.

Hi has anyone bought smaller ovalpod? Is it any good? Can 2 people bounce no this together?
Aren't rectangular trampolines supposed to be for single bouncers?
thanks

2 people shouldn't really bounce on any trampoline. If you look here larger ovalpod trampolines and here at smaller ovalpod trampoline you can use the spec charts to compare them.

Hi Jennie

Don't be discouraged, Trampolines are safe. You just have to find the right one for your family. There are a few brands on the market, Jumpking Trampolines being one of the biggest and then you have the Spring Free Trampolines. The first thing to ask is, how many children do you have?
Will there be more than 1 child bouncing at a time?
Do they go to trampoline lessons?

Depending on the answers to those questions, then you decide on the shape which actually does have a big impact on the performance and safety of the trampoline.
Trampolines are only dangerous generally when adults do stupid things on them or when the weight limits are not adhered to. I can't speak for SpringFree as they seem to have a serious flaw with the fibreglass rods. The round trampolines however are time tested and we have never had a safety issue with a round trampoline in the last 10 years that we have been trading. We would be happy to talk you through the various factors if you like though regarding the Trampolines

We have set up a blog answering questions like this, have a read through: www.etoyszone.co.uk/TrampolinesBlog/

has anyone heard of the Kanga brand of trampoline. It seems like only one online company seems to stock them and I can't find any reviews for them anywhere? Also anyone got any opinion on the SkyHigh brand, oval trampoline.

I've seen a strange looking oval trampoline at www.etoyszone.co.uk - it's not that expensive and it has a pretty cool enclosure.

Have you seen any of the Skyhigh Oval Trampolines they look great and are a bit cheaper than the Jumpking ones.

I think that those springfree trampolines break pretty easily, my friends one didn't last too long.

Is it compulsory to have clear space around the trampoline if you have a safety surround? I want to put a trampoline on a raised lawn area, with a fence on one side and a 4 foot drop down to the patio on the other side. Is this a really stupid idea or would it be safe enough as long as it's anchored properly to the ground?

I found a pretty good selection of 10FT Trampolines at The Trampoline Company - they have a really nice website too, The Trampoline Company

Hello all,

The Skyhigh Oval Trampolines are now available at

www.biggamehunters.co.uk/acatalog/Oval-Trampolines.html

Etoyzone is a dead site.

The build and bounce is good and the pads round the outside are thick.
