Stroller

My daughter will turn a year in a months time and I will then be going back to work.

I've enrolled her in a local nursery, so I will take her to the nursery and collect her each day on foot.

I've got a pushchair at the moment but it doesn't fold down very well. So I want to buy a stroller that I can wheel her to the nursery in, then fold it down so I can leave it there.

Can anyone recommend a good all round stroller.

Thanks

Hi there, when my dd was ten months old we bought the Maclaren techno xt. It was about £100, but has been great. Its very sturdy, good quality, nice neutral colours, easy to put up and down. It has a zip on the hood which can be unzipped and the hood falls forward another foot and half, which provides some extra sun shade ( best to see the website to explain this bit!). This feature was especially good when in strong sun light, kept the sun out of my little ones eyes, face etc. The rain cover is very easy to fit , no faffing around when its tipping down! Its not the smallest buggy around, so check length so it fits in the boot of your car. It fits in my Honda civic boot. My friends have bought cheaper buggies and one of them has since bought one of these as hers was rubbish quality, and did not last vey long at all. It also depends how much use its going to get. If you think it will be only used occasionally it may be worth looking for something cheaper, so best of luck! Two years on and the buggy is still in great condition, despite being taken abroad, and doing many trips around town etc etc. I would definately recommend this one , so perhaps take it for a test drive and see.

this is really sturdy end of the line hence the price so when they are gone, they are gone. a friend of mine wrote a long review on amazon about it.

I loved my babiesrus one that cost about £70

But the general mn opinion seems to be Maclaren

Maclaren Triumph will do the job. £70 ish unless you can get hold of last year's colours.

Ive had a look and the current equivalent is the Alpine xl for £89. Mine came with a seat liner and footmuff included

Miles better (literally!!) than my Maclaren quest - rubbish wheels

HTH

Thanks for your replies - wasn't able to see them before I went out and bought a new stroller!

Oh dear, I've only gone and purchased the maclaren quest! Hopefully, we will be pleased with it.
