lol i know they break really easily, they replace them free of charge but it sort of defeats the object doesn't it.

Iota · 23/04/2008 17:31

the bag for life bit means that you can trade it in for a free replacement, not that the one bag will last a lifetime

cremolafoam · 23/04/2008 17:31

oh

but thats just more plastic innit

when They says its a bag for life, I think They mean once you pay yr 10p, that's it - you can just keep getting replacements. I don't think is supposed to last. Mine certainly don't.

Iota · 23/04/2008 17:32

it's recycled plastic though

Slouchy · 23/04/2008 17:32

cremolafoam · 23/04/2008 17:34

got canvas plastic handled cardboard bottomed ones. If you're on a bike why not use a rucksack for some things? My dad used to!

foofi · 23/04/2008 18:25

I shopped in M&S for food today and realised I had left my bags in the car, so I loaded the food into a trolley to take back to the car as I was trying not to take more bags I didn't need.

In the car park later I was challenged by an M&S trolley attendant who demanded to see my receipt. So much for trying to be environmentally friendly - I'll use carrier bags next time.
