I started this job a few months ago, got half way and then gave up as couldn't work out how to get a piece of elastic off. Any advice would be very much appreciated as our 2nd baby is due in 2 weeks!

Thank you

Thank you very much for the link but I already have the manual that came with the seat. I might be being thick but it really isn't very straightforward and I was hoping that someone who has done it a few times might be able to offer some advice.

bump ... anyone? I thought that this carseat was really common ... or has everyone else found it really difficult too?

I gave up as could not get seatbelt to detach. So suspended it through wash machine door!! Ok it leaked but it got it clean

Hi Piffle,

Your advice has given me a much needed laugh on an otherwise mundane Saturday night! Thank you. I just can't believe that I didn't wash it at all the whole time that no. 1 was using it. Must do better this time.

which bit of elastic is stuck exactly (or have you worked it out now?)

i've got one and struggled a bit at first but managed to get it off eventually...
