I've only ever seen them in Boots, they used to do a pair (boy and girl) called something like Hiking Heidi, and you could also get separate outfits for them. Have just looked at the website (www.wellbeing.com) and they have this one, called Chester, on there:

Sorry I can't do links!

Also Toysrus used to do an own brand (Bruin) bear that had a little hiking outfit on. I think one shoe was a lace up, one had velcro, the jacket had a zip and the backpack had a button. Might not be quite good enough for what you need, but could be worth a look?

Mieow - do you have contact with an OT? A friend of mine is an OT and when we went to stay she had borrowed the 'dressing doll' from work for dd to play with, and she loved it Maybe they would be able to order one for you?

Yesterday I was in a charity shop when I found a card with a shoe lace on it to help a child learn to tie their laces, I happened to mention to one of the ladies there, that I was looking for a learning doll, and she said there was one out the back so she went and got it for me and it cost me £1.
