Child Friendly Flooring

Hi

Myself and my partner have two under 5s and we are looking for the best value for money 'child friendly' flooring for our downstairs lounge and dining room. Specifically we need a floor that is:

Durable
Easy to clean
Stain-resistant
Water-resistant
Comfortable underfoot

We have been to our local Tapi and Carpet right stores but everything looks so expensive and they are always pushing for us to have it fitted as well - which we don't want as out builder can install for us. I have found a few online websites such as Flooring Hut that sell a type of floor called LVT. Does anybody have any experience of fitting LVT and its suitability for a busy home!! Thank you.

Following! - as we are looking at LVT too, I've been really impressed with what I've seen so far and heard. I don't see the point in spending huge amounts of money when you can achieve a great look at a fraction of the price, especially if it's just as good. We've got pets too so and it seems that's another boxed ticked with LVT.

Couldn't agree more, for me it's just the fact it's easy to clean and long lasting while still not being too expensive!

LVT is excellent for family homes, there are quite a few brands out there. Do not get to caught up on these big brands (unless you like a certain one) any stick down LVT will last you at least 15 years.

Thank you. Yes we are looking for value for money as well - cost of living crisis etc!
