I have a zia and love it - it reclines and folds easy - i wouldnt cal it rickety - more bouncy compared to my mclaren. The only gripe with it and it is a little one is im a taller average and whereas the handles are higher and adjustable on my mclaren techno the handles are quite lower. Looks lovely though and my ds is more than happy to glide about in it and snooze (is also 16 months).

To recline your supposed to put brake on i think which i never do then its just a case of pressing a button and pulilng a lever which is easy enough.

Got mine from nursery something or other who makes em and came with free footmuff which is canny though probs a bit short for when he gets longer.

Thanks everyone, now I am going to throw a spanner in!!! What about the Verve?

I was looking on Kiddicare and they have a yellow one for £69.97!! seems like the Zia but with only two seat positions.

Anyone got any comments????

bruin presto - love mine
here

I have the brittax vigour 4 and its not light - can't remember why I chose against the verve

dizzydixies · 31/03/2008 21:59

sorry - here

just looked at verve and remembered didn't like the stupid front wheel for going up and down kerbs

I have a jane powertrack for dog walks etc and its brilliant but didn't want a 3 wheeler for about the town/lightweight buggy

sorry to add another issue

sazm · 31/03/2008 22:03

i've heard folks saying that its hardly any recline at all,and isnt worth mentioning,

micci25 · 31/03/2008 22:07

i have the zapp my sister has the zia i love mine it only tips if you put too many bags on the back of it and its great to push did consider selling it to buy a zia when my sis got hers as im sick of mil moaning that it doesnt lay down and that i should have got a proper 'pram'.

my sis's zia does seem a bit less sturdy compared to my zapp but she has never had any complaints with it

mehdismummy · 31/03/2008 22:15

presto. Got mine for £60 off ebay shop. It reclines all the way. Has shopping basket. Can fold and unfold one handed. I love it!

dizzydixies · 31/03/2008 22:17

1legmummy · 31/03/2008 22:19

hi dizzy i am very excited now! I have a black one! So has urbandyrad and flatpack. We are a gang now. They are so much better than quinny and the raincover comes in its own special bag! Pink and turquoise you say? Bloody marvellous!

nappyaddict · 31/03/2008 23:59

what about a luna?

BexieID · 01/04/2008 12:50

Hated the Zapp and Zia. Prefer my Micralite!

1legmummy · 03/04/2008 00:11

Got the Zia today - not convinced - going to look at the Verve x

OP posts:
Nappyzone · 03/04/2008 12:01

AWWWWWWWW what didnt you like?

1legmummy · 03/04/2008 21:39

Not completely sure, I think the back panel is a bit flimsy and on the instructions it says you can undo the clip on the backrest adjuster to recline it completely or just use the tension thing.

Mine does not have a clip and my fixed wrist (just another thing wrong with me!!!) and I found it quite hard to do - really love colour, just having a look at the Verve
