My dd had range, she had cooker, washing machine, microwave and kitchen sink and she loved it.

We bought it for her second christmas and birthday and have just given it away she is now 6 and it was as new condition even though it had a lot of use.

The verbaudet one is more girly but I think our one is perhaps more hardwearing. I can remember dd was always standing on the oven door when it was open and climbing all over the set and it sttod up to it.

The verbaudet on is pretty though, dd has some lovely bedroom furniture from their.

My DD has this one

it looks nice and doesn't take up too much room. We got it for DD's 2nd birthday - she didn't play with it very much to start with, but is getting a lot more use out of it now (she has just turned 3).

Mothercare do a good reasonably priced set of plastic play food, and I got a good cheap set of plastic cups, plates, cutlery, etc from Tchibo. ELC do lots of kitchen stuff, also IKEA. If you can afford it though, go for the wooden Pintoy stuff - much nicer!

My DD has this one and I cannot tell you how brilliant it is.
I ordered mine from Germany but is exactly the same.
We have had great fun collecting wooden pretend food, implemens, cups etc.
DD had it for her 2nd birthday a year ago and still plays with it a few times a week.

DD was still playing with it at five and although she had a habit of trying to cook with real food. Her little step brother now plays with it all the time. She played with it the most when she was about 3 -4. She also had a wooden market stall that she loved.
