Nappies that DON'T leak??

Can anyone recommend a brand of reasonably-priced [disposable] nappies that DON'T leak? DD3 is 2 now and a lot of mornings when she wakes up her PJs and sleeping bag are wet because the nappy has leaked. I've tried most makes - Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys, Huggies, Pampers. Just bought some Morrisons ones and when she woke up this morning she was soaked! Are pull-ups less leaky than normal nappies? HELP!

We used pampers pull ups from around this age as they seemed to be able to hold more liquid, then moved onto huggies pyjama pants (but they start at age 4 I think).

Own brands do their own version of pull ups, but not sure how good they are.

Also, do you try getting her to go for a wee before you put the night nappy on, to minimise the amount she might wee in the night? (this didn't make any difference for us, but it's worth a shot)

another option would be to try washable night nappies....flame or nappyzone would be able to advise

Pull-ups are worse imo.
I have found that with my dc Pampers Active fit to be the most absorbant.
the only other thing i can think to suggest is to cut down of fluid intake before bed, difficult i know.

I do try to get her to wee before I get her ready for bed, but she won't do anything in the potty! She knows it's her "toilet" but doesn't quite understand what it's for. Don't want to try the washable night nappies as I'm hoping that we won't be in nappies for long - have looked into them previously and decided against them! Might give the pull ups a go then. It's very annoying! I wonder how many people have taken nappies back (obviously not the used ones!) because they leak?

Agree with Flynnie - I found pull ups for bedtime were useless. I continued to use Huggies Active Fit at night.

have you tried going up a size? IIRC, my DS used to leak more in his nappies as he got to the top of the weight range for that size.

Don?t bother with nature babycare nappies...USELESS for absorbency. Boots do a reusable one that isn?t bad. i think its about £7 for one.

Aldi, or Lidl. Never EVER had probs with those, even when LO's had bad pooh days (cant spell diahorea, unless thats it LOL)

we found pull ups hold less, and were no good at night.
the best nappies we found were pampers baby dry, BUT our ds and dd were both wet in the morning as they have a drink before bed,so we just change them before we go to bed.they have never woke up with us doing this.

try pampers baby dry in the biggest size for your lo's weight i.e. ds is in size 5+ which go from 29lbs as he is around that weight now. the smaller size were starting to leak at night and he drinks a lot so pees for Britain!!
