It does our corners and edges better than our Dyson attachment used to.

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 17/03/2008 22:14

dp seems unconvinced callister!!

Oh - and depending on the height of your furniture, it evens cleans underneath it too! I rarely used to bother moving the sofas and beds to vacuum underneath - and now I don't need to.

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 18/03/2008 19:34

that really is progress - so how long is it?

still wondering if £165 in costco is a bargain

Buda · 18/03/2008 19:38

I want one! (And I have 2 cleaners!

If i had one I wouldn't need 2 cleaners would I???

VanillaPumpkin · 18/03/2008 21:18

My dh commented that we have too much 'stuff' awkward furniture etc to have one. I seized the positive that he was actually discussing it . He said I can get one with my birthday money .

Exactly. I said I would put the bean bags on the sofa, and that it would inspire us to clear the clutter from under the coffee table (catalogues and papers).....working on it....

Sputnik · 18/03/2008 21:53

Pecka, a Roomba is right up there with muslin squares on the "essentials" list for a new baby, IMO.

And when the baby gets a bit older it will provide entertainment and distraction.

As has been pointed out, older kids will pick stuff up if it's going to come out.

They are brilliant.

Pacific · 18/03/2008 21:58

The costco one is the 530. It has a docking station and one virtual wall and has the same cleaning features as the more expensive ones. It does not have the programmable function.....you have to press the button to set it off, which is really hard work.

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 18/03/2008 22:16

ooooh !! thanks for that!

VanillaPumpkin · 19/03/2008 09:36

Ooh, I might have to send my Dad to Costco ......

PeckaRolloverAgain · 23/03/2008 19:46

Result!!!!!! Going to costco in the morning...!!!

I've just ordered one. It took a week of mentionitis to DH and a quid pro quo simultaneous ordering of some techy, even more expensive than the roomba, i-pod speakers.

I don't care, I'm so excited.

VanillaPumpkin · 24/03/2008 14:04

Lol. I am still failing. Never mind.
Have you got it Pecka?? Is it all you dreamed it to be?

PeckaRolloverAgain · 24/03/2008 16:10
