Harry Potter Games - esp Levitating Challenge

Help - eldest dd (7) wants the HP Levitating Challenge for Xmas. After spending £60 last year on Amazing Ally, because it was the only the only thing she really, really wanted, and seeing it discarded after a few days, I would like to know if this HP game is worth the money (£40) or should I start trying to dissuade her now? Also seen some of the board games - anyone got any of these, and are they any good?
Also - might as well ask while I'm here - anyone get any recommendations for a chemistry set for a 7 year old. This is next on the list after HP, but have only seen ones for 10 & up & think these are probably beyond her.
Thanks in advance

My dd (8) wants that too, but sorry, she's not getting it even though we're big HP fans. These games that go with a movie never seem to pan out like they do on the commericals. A trick my mom used and I use on my kids is to "talk up" something that you know they'll like. "Oh, see this, isn't this great, and it's got such-and-such features...." This always worked on me (even though I didn't know about the trick until later in life). It was always such a surprise when I got EXACTLY what I wanted every year! As far as a chemistry set goes, what about a microscope or something else scienc-y? My dd got one for her eighth bd and loves exploring the little world, though it requires adult supervision. There are several price ranges. We got hers at Index.
