Does this table look a bit 'farmhousy'?

It seems a complete bargain and I like it but dh says it might look a bit farmhousy which wouldn't go in our house.

It is to go with existing high back, blue fabric covered dining chairs which have oak legs but are quite modern.

could you do the link again?

I would put this in a kitchen but not in a seperate formal dining room. Isn't there a cheaper one from IKEA?

I think it is lovely and a real bargain but you would have to see it in the flesh so to speak to know whether it will fit in with your house.

no I don't think it's farmhousey, the drawer is the only nod to farmhousey I can see and it's slim so not really.
We have one similar in modern kitchen with cream leather chairs

I couldn't find an oak one big enough in Ikea. I can't see it as they are based in Cheshire and I am down south but someone on here recommended them, and it is such a bargain!

The dimensions are just perfect - same size as our existing table (ancient, an Ikea bargain which has lasted so well but now needs replacing) without the extra leaves but big enough for all my family when they come over (there are a lot of us!)

Sounds like I should go for it even if it is a bit of a gamble given I can't see it.

Definately NOT farmhousy, looks modern to me.

(but then what do I know, I live in a Victorian property with reclaimed and charity shop furniture)

It looks beautiful. (your new table, i mean)
