Toddler trousers that don’t fall down

Mumsnetters- can you help? I have a very skinny two year old and all the trousers I buy for him fall down. The only style that works is like the parsnip pants that Frugi makes with the fold over waistband, and even those only work in smaller sizes than his actual age. They are a bit thin, and I was wondering if anyone has any bright ideas for thicker, warmer styles for winter that don’t fall down. We do dungarees all the time, but he likes trousers…

My friend buys a lot from Zara and she has same issue with her little boy. Or I got some from SHEIN with the actual sort of cord to pull.
my daughter is tall and slim so it was a bit of a nightmare as if they fitted at the waist they were too short.

You need to look for trousers that have ‘magic elastic’ in them. That is the elastic in the waistband has buttonholes in it and there’s a button sewn into the waistband, so it is adjustable. I just got some nice blue ones from Nutmeg.

My son was the same. Very very skinny. Always been on the 2nd Centile for weight.
I used to put him in leggings a lot of the time/ possibly pants which had the inside buttons so you could make them tighter (next do these) and joggers which I could tie.
I still have to tighten all his school uniform trousers by a significant amount.

Lindex? My kids are tall and slim and they fit them well. I find H&M and Zara to be wide fits.
