Ive been looking round for a good present for dd (11mnths) for Christmas and have seen \link{http://artskuranda.asn.au/cc/wildchild_design_artist_studio.html \these} also here . I think they are really cute and also look good. They have got rave reviews but they are quite pricey (not overly so mind) and I dont want to buy one if its gonna die a death really quickly. Anyone got one??

I have a Bee wheelie bug under the xmas tree for my son. I've read rave reviews about them and I really think it'll be a much loved toy. He's almost two so I went for the large size and got it from kiddicare.

PS Husband had a little go of it when it arrived and thought it was great too. In fact he asked if they do adult ones!

Sorry don't want to be negative, but DD had one of these and was petrified of it and I ended up sending it back. I suppose it depends on the child as she was scared of Father Christmas etc whereas DS loves things like that........

hmmm hadnt thought of that. Mind you she doesnt seem to be that kinda kid. He is shy with people but no problems with things. Might take her to look at one tho just to be on the safe side Dont fancy having to take it back.

We bought the smaller sized bee for my ds's first birthday and he loved it. He is 4½ now and still squeezes onto it quite adequately but it is mainly my dd who likes it now (almost 2). It is as good as when we first bought it and looks fantastic - one of those toys that I like to leave out. I cannot stress how popular it is - all his friends make a bee-line to it!
Am considering buying the ladybird in the larger size as it is that good.
Buy, buy, buy!
And no, I am not a wheely bugs salesperson...!!
