Am starting the long process of checking car seats. Am interested in the above and wondered if anyone has one? Are they good, comfy etc. Also do they use a harness or the adult seat belt? Can't seem to find this detailed anywhere.

Many thanks

BBx

They are highback boosters from 15kg weight, no harness.

I had two of these because I really wanted isofix seats, but it wasn't money well spent tbh. The sides are very fragile - just your usual polystyrene and then only partially covered by plastic - and I had snapped the door-facing sides on both seats within a month, simply by accidentally brushing against them when lifting a child in.
Also, the Isofix doesn't really do anything useful as you use the adult belt to strap the child in anyway.

DD was too tall for the previous car seat, yet not the correct weight for the next stage up so after getting advice from various different places we decided on the Jane Isofix Indy car seat and have been very happy with it. DD loves it, is very comfortable on long car journeys, you can recline it slightly before the child gets in and there is plenty of growing room.

Just get your lo to try sitting in lots of different seats as what might look comfy to you may not be to them

Great thanks very much. Have been around to Halfords etc., but wanted some wise words from those in the know

thanks again x

My DD who is 6 is inthe Indy Isofix seat - they only benefit wth it being Isofix is that it is fixed into the car, and then can recline slightly - a god car seat, but not the best out there!

I have a maxi-Cosi rodi in my car for her, and i like that one better.

Take a look at Recaro. This one Recaro Monza Seatfix has ISOFIX but you still need to use the seatbelt over the child because it is a Group 3 seat. It won't move around if anchored in with the ISOFIX fittings, got to be a good thing.
