Bedside cot... which one?

I want to order our cot, and we've decided on a bedside one. The one on display in mothercare (their own brand one) seemed a little rickety, and the only other one I've spotted for sale is the cosatto olivia one. The nice man at cosatto has spent today phoning everywhere that they supply to, to see if there's one to go and look at before we order. There's not a single one in the NW! Does anyone know how those two cots compare, or if there are any more I should be looking at?

TIA.

mamas and papas do one that looks v sturdy!

We ended up getting the mothercare one as it was the only one that would fit in the space next to my bed. I know what you mean about it seeming a bit rickety but we have had no problems yet. dd is now 18 months and uses it as a trampoline with no probs!

getting a bedside cot was deffo one of the best decisions we made - made night feeds so much easier and we really liked the extra space relative to cosleeping.

just thought it might be worth me pointing out the cosatto olivia is not on wheels -this might make changing the sheets both on the cot and on your bed a bit of a pain

Aha, thanks for pointing that out! The castors are good as I plan on wheeling it away from the bed and putting the side up if the baby is napping during the day when I'm elsewhere.

The mamas and papas one does look sturdy, but a bit odd with the sloping sides! It's also a bit bigger, so I think we'll just go with the mothercare one, if your 18 month old does trampolining in it it sounds fine!

Thanks.

I have the m&p one, brand new under my bed, as dd wouldn't sleep out of our bed, if you decided you wanted to go for the m&p one, and didn't want to buy new, lmk It is very sturdy, and pretty as well (but we spent £300 on ours to then never use it grrr)
