clarks sale seems to have started

Can I ask a question about children's shoes? DS had new ones a couple of weeks ago and he was measured as a 5 and a half F. I saw some nice ones in the sale this morning (in Clarks) but he doesn't need new ones yet. Do I assume that the next pair he will be in is a 6F? Is that the way it works? I'd rather buy them whilst they're in the sale.

no - it doesn't work like that - he could have a growth spurt and go up a couple of sizes - hang on to your money - could be false economy

I must admit 2 buying the next size up 4 my ds if I see them in the sale, but he has very slow growing feet.
I had a look at the kids shoes in the bluewater clarkes, but they did not have any in my ds's size.

not sure, the place was heaving (oxford st) but a lot seemed to be reduced from 59.99 to 39.99, some had only a tenner off.
