we've just been looking at these on ebay and have a couple of questions, hope someone can help!
does a toddler seat fit all the emmaljunga models? and do they fit once the baby is out of the pram and into pushchair mode? and are they any good?! we've been looking at phil and teds but not sure we can afford one and thought an emmaljunga might be as good?
tia!

We had an emmaljunga that we used with a toddler seat, and we loved it. The style of pram was large, 4 wheeled perambulator with a big tray under. I used the toddler seat (I have 19 mths between mine) over the large carry cot bit (don't know where my words have gone this evening - can't for the life of me think of what that is called), thus pushing baby and and toddler, and then when baby was older, converted it to a pushchair (sitting up) style, and used the toddler seat on that, so could carry both children.
It was fixed wheel, so the pushing/turning / curbs took some getting used to, but I liked having my dd up high and facing me where we could chat, and the large tray basket was jolly useful. We are in inner London and don't have a car, so we walk everywhere. Too big and heavy to fit on the tube, and probably too big to fit in many cars. If I had to do it over again, I would possibly go for the P&T, as I do think they are very good. Depends on your situation.

thanks js, could you see past your toddler to your other child when they were in the toddler seat (iyswim!)? We wouldn't be taking it in the car so not overly bothered about bulkiness! have just shown dp a few pictures on ebay, he's not convinced! are they well built? we had a cheap pram built in a similar style for ds1 that fell to bits...

I haven't ever had the 'coronette' model, which has a toddler seat included and converts into a sort of double (this is the old fashioned looking one, small wheels, tends to be red/blue check, usually v cheap on ebay - not really like a pram)
But I have the large pram model (called 'edge' or 'sport' - it has a carry cot which you then swap over for a seat unit, large tray, huge wheels) and the one thing I can tell you about Emmaljunga is that it will never fall apart!
They are possibly the best made prams in the world - solid, solid engineering and build, which the manufacturers are justifiably proud of and charge a lot of money for - ours should have been £600 odd, new, but we paid £150 on ebay. It is almost perfect condition!
We use a toddler board on it for my nearly-five year old, which is the only buggy board I would really trust to carry his weight and it handles beautifully.
Never used the toddler seat as such but from JS's post it looks like you can.
It is heavy but if you walk a lot it is brilliant. Will last you forever!
Will link you a pic of the one I mean if you like. I am selling my older one btw, if you're interested

This is the convertible type which is probably very well built too - I can't think why it wouldn't be if it is an Emmal!

This beauty is the one we have. I can only compare it to a small car, really!!!

I don't think the toddler seat would fit once you had the seat unit on the big one...not sure...it might do. The 'Toddler board' definitely does though. I use the Emmaljunga own brand though.

Yes, we had one like Flightattendant, except it was an older model. We got ours secondhand as well, and loved it to death. It had already seen good service before us - so yes, very well built. We did use the toddler seat on it when the seat unit was on, so it was sort of double decker style. I could see the child behind when the seat was on, but they were close together. We also used it with a buggy board (used the lascal one, but had to do a good bit of jigging around - don't think EJ did their own at that time). HTH

thanks FA, I would definitely be interested if you are selling yours, think it's gonna take a bit of persuasion before dp gives in! I'm dragging him to look at one next weekend though! If you want to email me the details my address is redclover79 at yahoo dot com, will work on dp!

Thanks for your collective wisdom. I am expecting no3 and have just had my phil and teds stolen - not happy! I do have an emmaljunga classic pram in storage which I plan to use instead with a buggy board for my two older children. At baby's birth they will be 4.5 and 3.5 years and I will need to walk them to school. While they will probably mostly use their scooters, there will be times when both will want to use the buggy board at once. I read the Emmaljunga buggy board is sturdy but do you think it could cope with that? (their weights are apprx 13 and 15kg at the moment).

hi i looked at buying an emmaljunga and the shop assistant said the toddler seats fit the 2 in 1 pushchairs, but not the 3 in 1 with the carrycot,
