Stupid baby sleeping bag question

When is it too small? ie how much room do they need around them in length and width? The gro bag site gives height measurements but I have a dreambag so don't know if they are the same size. I have a very big year old and wondered if hes starting to be uncomfortable in his 6-18 month bag.

I have a big baby and he moved up to a bigger size slleping bag maybe a month or so before he was "supposed" to. iyswim? If he is uncomfortable, he'll soon let you know! hth.

If they can touch the foot of the sleeping bag when they kick then it's too small for them.

thanks for that. I'll have a check. Hes been sleeping badly last week but is ok again now. I always want a nice easy solution to no sleeping!

dd outgrew her 0-6m ones at about 4m - she's no chunkster either but was visibly constrained and uncomfortable.
so long as they fit well under the arms (so they can't slip down) I'd go up a size.

It took me a while to realise that DD's sleeping bag was hurting her shoulders when she stretched her legs, bloody stupid woman that I am.
