I need to get two kids t shirts printed, who is good and cheap and swift and cheery?

They are for a 2 yo and a 4 yo and possibly a baby if I am feeling unexpectedly flush.

They are these embarassing "big brother/big sister" t shirts, which my kids want, for god knows what reason.

So I have designed my own, for I have nothing better to do

My due date is tommorrow and while I am not THAT optimistic (either about the baby OR the t shirt arriving), I would quite like to give them to the kids while there is still a little novelty.

Extra points for fairtrade/organic...

btw I know I had a thread on this and I know someone kindly linked to some suppliers-I can't find the bloody thread. Sorry for duplication.

oh go on you know you want to go to the limit of your creativity

Twiglett · 05/02/2008 20:32

can't you buy them?
nappyhead.com do a good version

Flibbertyjibbet · 05/02/2008 20:45

Have you got a marker pen? DS1 went to a party the other week in a 'home made' t shirt that said 'Lock up your daughters' in grafitti style writing that I just did on a plain white t shirt.

Extra points for really cheap????

OR if the kids want them then get them some fabric paints from ebay and let them do their own?
It could keep them busy while you are otherwise engaged actually producing the baby!

Bit off the wall but, have you tried your local college or Upper school?
Our local one does silk screening and clothes printing, our local toddler group used them when they needed stuff printing.
And thinking about it, our local Snappy snaps does them too.

FillyjonkisCALM · 05/02/2008 21:16

no I have spent possibly my last evening of kind of nearly freedom (fingers x-d) drawing a lopsided picture of 3 children in animal costumes

(I ASKED ds and dd what they wanted on their t shirt. Rest assured I have learnt from my mistake here )

anyway it is sodding well going to someone who knows what they are doing. I want it to look at least a little intentionally crappy, IYKWIM.

Snappy snaps don't know if there's one near you.

the Mother's milk marketing board (lactivist) do transfer t-shirts. I got them to design me one saying "Daddy's boy/j'aime mon Papa" for Father's Day a couple of years ago. She was great - I'm sure she would do a transfer of your own design.

HaventSleptForAYear · 06/02/2008 10:53

It doesn't say anything on her site about it but email her and see - she is really fast and friendly.
