We're about to get our garden landscaped and within that will be an area to put a 10ft trampoline.

I've just googled but don't know where to start other than it needs to be 10ft with an enclosure. Ideally it would be green in colour as I hate the way that lurid blue of some of them dominate the garden (bit poncetastic of me I know ).

I've seen some packages with Kerboing, Jump for Fun, Plum or Rebo makes -any good?

TIA

BettySpaghetti · 04/02/2008 17:22

They've even Supersized those now though as you can get the giant garden versions

I know

BettySpaghetti · 04/02/2008 17:36

Have you looked at any trampolines yet then NJ? Or are you just at that stage of wondering where on earth you start?

OP posts:
Flier · 04/02/2008 17:44

we got a mad dash one from this company www.outdoortoysdirect.co.uk/Trampolines

NatalieJane · 04/02/2008 17:50

Not really looked yet, it isn't till the 18th March. Will get round to it at some point!

I have a deap grained fear of them after watching my old P.E. teacher come off one at school very badly, she lost one leg and from the knee down on the other leg.... but he is insistant that that is what he want's. Never mind me quietly having a heart attack at even the thought of it!

Flier, is that one you have lasting OK? I have visions of rusty springs snapping!

Flier · 04/02/2008 18:31

we got it last summer, but we took it down for the winter months at dhs insistence

I'm happy so far with it, for the money, and customer service was good too.

BettySpaghetti · 04/02/2008 20:04

NatalieJane.

thanks Flier -that company seems to be a Mn favourite I think, I've seen them mentioned before

we did well with that company too. The mad dash trampoline we got is great with lots of bounce. I managed to put it together by myself [preen]

Come to TP in stourport, betty!
They sell the catalogue stuff and you can often get them at factory prices. Cat me if you need directions from your place

Good thinking slouchy! Do they have them out on display as I was wondering if anywhere did that so you can get an idea of the size etc?

Mind you, from a quick look at the website, they do look more expensive there by the time you factor in the "extras" like the safety surround, anchor kit....

Do they have regular offers only available from their shop then?

OP posts:
BettySpaghetti · 05/02/2008 10:06

oops pressed post too soon.

SueW -we did debate digging a hole for it but we've got a lot of soil to shift from A to B as it is . Access isn't brilliant either so if we have to move a lot of soil away from the premises it would be very time consuming (and expensive)

We've got a 10' Jump for Fun trampoline. It's very good. Green as well.

Got the enclosure but don't tend to use the cover or use the shoe storage thingy.

Well worth the expense.

BettySpaghetti · 06/02/2008 10:23

jalopy -am I right in thinking that you can't use the cover if you have an enclosure ?

The Jump For Fun one does look good -its on my short list

OP posts:
Flier · 06/02/2008 12:28

you're right - you need to take the enclosure off if you want to use the cover, pretty pointless really, eh?

haggisaggis · 06/02/2008 12:32

We got a big one from "Jump for Fun" and it's great. (green, too!) Found the company good to deal with.

jalopy · 06/02/2008 18:47

You're right. I think they put the cover in with the package but it's useless with the enclosure in situ. The company was good.

lailasmum · 06/02/2008 18:49

Focus have a 10ft trampoline with enclosure in their shops at the moment for £99.

pigleto · 06/02/2008 18:50

I have a jumpking which has been excellent. The screen seems very safe. It was quite expensive but has more bounce than cheaper ones, I got it from ebay.

Flier · 06/02/2008 18:56

the jumpking ones did seem excellent, but as you say more expensive. I found the ones for sale in B&Q and such like were not as good quality as the one we got from outdoortoysdirect

sazm · 10/02/2008 18:10

we got a no brand one from ebay and it was great, but we didnt buy an anchoring kit,and the wind destroyed it, so now need to buy a new one!you can usually get a 12"one with enclosure for around £130,
