Has anyone seen any good deals on a Magimix Food processor?

Mine has expired after 25 years, and I need to replace it pronto - but they are not cheap, are they?

Just found this which is far more fandangled and shiny than mine if you would prefer!

Mine is in a box of things by the front door wardrobe (not bedroom - although it was there for a while), I can't just give it to charity, I want it to go to a good home, was MIL's.....it's done me proud and has only recently been replaced as I was given another one (oddly enough from new MIL ) - one day I'll buy my own and it will have all the fangly dangly bits intact!

Send me your address and I'll pop it in the post - will probably cost a bit to send as it is heavy but still cheaper than a new one I think!

oooh, no, I looked at it and thought 'fantastic'! And have e mailed you.

I don't need sophisticated gadgets, (and have only used my grater disc once, I think) but do use it a lot as a food processor.

Aitch - I don't think my bowl will fit - it looks a differnt shape - what a shame.

This is a MN miracle!

Just wondered whether the cutting blade from your machine was still good? Mine just sheared off about 40 minutes ago (same model as yours, 2800)

DingCat - sorry - have ben away from computer. Unfortunatley my Mum has now bagsed my spare parts as she has a cracking crumbling version of my old model, too! Good luck with yours.
