My DH has just recently bought a 'man toy' a Wii for the kids (yeah, alright!!) and my 4yo ds can't play the games for toffee. He can't get used to pressing the A and releasing the B. Are there any games on the market for the Wii that are simple. It causes so many arguments with my DD(8) as she can play all the games we have (sports pack and play pack) - but he is completely useless. I just want something which they can both play with without fighting!!!

DS1 (nearly 4) plays most of the games on Wii Play He loves Mario Galaxy
He has tried tennis golf and bowling on the sports

DS has been playing with our wii since he was 4 and loved Rayman's Raving Rabids, but to be fair he also could play the sports games too. Maybe your ds is just a little be too young.

Mario Party
Carnival
Mario Olympic Games
Disney Cars

And bowling on Sports is normally a good one to.

Another vote for Big Brain Academy. 5yo DD plays that lots.

Somebody else mentioned carnival to me. My DS has not got a clue. Has tried everything on Wii play/sports and can't get used to releasing the back (b) button when bowling. He is ok with the shooting game but that's when he is managing to point the remote at the tv. Usually it's everywhere else. He is ok at the boxing - but that's it. He has not got a clue whatsoever. At least he doesn't realise he's losing.

I am not bothered about him not being able to play with it - but it's such a family 'toy' that it seems such a shame that he doesn't seem to be able to join in. I wanted to try and find a game for him that will help him get used to the remote etc...
