so I went and got myself properly fitted at Rigby and Peller. Know what size I need, but I cannot find something that is comfortable, supportive, and most importantly, doesn't start sagging after a couple of hours.
I am a 34G/32H. I went to bravissimo today and tried on everythoing they had. came home with one that I am trialling tonight and it looks awful. (dp says it doesn't, but i feel it does)

so what have you found that works???? I am tired of ordering stuff online that doesn't fit or looks crap, or seems ok so I wear it and then it turns out to be shit! I don't need my boobs to be any droopier by the end of the day than they already are lol

I too am a 32/34G/H I find the freya ones from bravissimo are pretty

LardyMardyDaisy · 30/01/2008 20:43

I've got some royce jasmine that are OK...nothing flash, but they are supportive and give me what my DH tells me is a nice shape, although I thhink they make my boobs a bit 1950s pointy.

I'm a 34H.

I also got a couple of freya rosalie bras, but think they contribute to my recurrent blocked duct problems.

JingleyJen · 30/01/2008 20:45

Doh / I am sorry I didnt; read the title properly - the royce ones were the feeding bras I had not attractive but functional.

fingerwoman · 30/01/2008 20:46

yes, i got the royce jasmine today.
am mostly worried about the pointiness lol

it has definitely sagged since I put it on, but i guess theyt all with, without the underwiring.

they all sort of do sag unfortunately which made feel really awful. in the end I got an Anita wired which I would wear for short periods so as to make me feel better.
but I never had mastitis or blocked ducts, would not have tried if I had

it is very unfair surely some engineering can sort that out

Piffle · 30/01/2008 20:56

32hh here and found the freya rosalie terrific. Also good is the nct bra. Nice shape. Stretchier fabric where the rosalie is not.

TheBlonde · 30/01/2008 21:03

another royce jasmine wearer here
found freya too small

Cazwa · 30/01/2008 21:03

I got the Rolls Royce/Joyce one (Sounded something like that!) from Bravissimo for both LOs and found them the best. Least saggiest, best supportive, comes in black and white, however still a bit high up on chest so peeps out above lower cut tops.
Compared to some of the others though its brilliant, Im a 36J when BFing

fingerwoman · 30/01/2008 21:06

hmmm perhaps i'll stick with it then. it was definitely the best of the ones they had there.

have just ordered a couple more from figleaves (inc an underwired one) as I found a 20 per cent off code, and free postage. so will see how I go.
If I find anything worth knowing about i'll report back lol

bought anita ones from figleaves - both wired and unwired - they were great. comfy and not that ugly for nursing bras (if you know what I mean) also got very comfy nighttime nursing bras from figleaves - can't remember name but they were stretchy jersey like the crop top type ones - but nursing type for big boobs (38F)! Very impressed with figleaves - have always liked Bravissimo but FL has better range.

accessorizemybaublessanta · 30/01/2008 23:02

Anita do an underwired nursing bra - have you seen that one? I couldn't wear it all the time as it caused duct problems by the end of the day (not massively) but it was v.comfy and I felt attractive in it too (as opposed to functional but quite hideous Royce). I'm sure I got it in a 38H or something like that.
not sure if it was this one or this one but both come in 34H anyway.
Have you tried local bra shop as they can order it in for you, often the hideous looking shops have good range of bigger bras!

fingerwoman · 30/01/2008 23:03

yes, that second one is one of the ones i've ordered from figleaves tonight.
am a bit worried about the blocked duct issue though. eek

Have you tried the Bravado ones, they look more like sport bras.

I just used to put mine on if I was going out, so half a day in it so I didn't feel saggy! I usually knew straight away if there was a problem and whipped it off! Still worth IMO.

morninggirl · 31/01/2008 10:33

i was on a website that sells Freya bras and they do a nursing bra line now. (i dont remember which ones i used tbh!)

but Freya bras, normal ones, are usually lovely (but expensive )

fingerwoman · 31/01/2008 13:06

i did try bravado, but it was no good because I had to have the biggest one for my boobs, but it was massive around my chest
