My mum wants one of these for her birthday and I havent got a clue so can anyone recommend one please.

Would need to be from somewhere I can walk in and buy as I dont have time to order online - so Boots, Body Shop etc.

Many thanks!

I have the lancome one, it's brilliant

nailpolish · 30/01/2008 10:01

hana

i am not a huge fan of clinique as a whole tbh

i have Dior brushes but not a foundation one

they are fab

kindersurprise · 30/01/2008 10:05

I just bought a foundation brush from MAC last week. Never used a brush before.

Actually I went in to get foundation and the saleswoman recommended the brush too.

Ok, says I, ring it up. (Without asking the price)

The brush was more expensive than the foundation

It is fab though.

How often do you have to buy a new brush then?

nailpolish · 30/01/2008 10:06

i want to know how to clean it

someone said shampoo (cnat remember whre or who)

would that be correct?

Pollyanna · 30/01/2008 10:07

I have a MAC one too - I think it is good, but have never had another one to compare it with

ThePettyandIllinformedGoat · 30/01/2008 10:09

i remember the bobbi brown woman trying to sell me her fabulously expensive brush and she looked really pissed off i didn't fall for her evil trap. i just slap it on with fingers but would love to try a good brush that doesn't cost gazillions of pounds.

Caz10 · 30/01/2008 10:14

the lancome one is great

also the new yves st laurent foundation has a built in brush it's fab!

kindersurprise · 30/01/2008 10:20

The MAC lady said to clean it twice a week with baby shampoo.

And to be careful not to get water inside the brush, (Inside the handle, iyswim.)

tullytwo · 30/01/2008 10:52

Thankyou ladies - will look for them online and then choose and go buy instore!
