Am finally giving in and getting my 1 yr DS christened. Does anyone have any ideas for reasonably priced & funky christening outfits for my DS. No way will he wear a dress.

Well we just bought DS a nice pair of trousers and a short sleeved shirt (it was August). We got them from Baby Gap rather than the usual Primark or whatever because it was a special occasion, so I wouldn't say they were reasonable exactly. But he's still wearing them. DS was one when he was christened as well.

something like this? A bit funky!

or this, very christening-y

looks a bit more traditional

little white shoes

cream jacket to wear over

But pleeease don't buy him a three piece suit!

My son had a 3 piece suit! He looked gorgeous!

Why not?

he had round collered shirt. grey shorts and matching jacket from vertbaudet, looked fab!

Ooops . I just think they're a bit young for that at one. But hey, each to their own.

Thank you so much. I had looked at VB, but hadn't managed to find anything nice - obviously looking in the wrong place! First choice looks perfect.

Now, if you can help me with my 2nd post - promo codes for key camp, I will be able to go to bed happy

Califrau,
Have just read your profile - you look soooo interesting! Was in San Francisco about 6 years ago, and came across a fantastic place which did stand up open mike opera on Saturday afternoons - Cafe Trieste. Sounds a bit weird, but it was fabulous.
SF is the one place in the States I could see myself living. Enjoy
