American sizes ...

Can anyone help me with working out the difference between US and UK sizes?

(am trying to order some things on ebay)

What size would a US 10 shoe be? My dd is a UK 9-10 so what would she need in an US size?

Also in terms of clothes when they say 4T etc. what does that mean? What should I look for as my dd's age 5-6? Do the clothes tend to come up bigger or smaller than UK clothes?

4T = age 3-4yo. 5T=age 4-5yo (roughly). Etc.
Scroll down this page for shoe-size charts comparing children's sizes in US and UK. I am not vouching for that being perfectly correct, but seems close to me.

Are you going to have to pay import duty and VAT on the items? Might not be such a good value buy?!

Children's Clothes
USA/American UK/British (height in inches) Euro/France (height in cm)
4 43 109
6 48 122
8 55 140
10 58 147
12 60 147
14 62 157

Thanks!

No, the import costs are ridiculous but my dd really wants some Tinkerbell shoes and I can't find them anywhere in the UK.
