Is it the Maclaren? And if so which model?
I need something for my ds (15 mths and a big lad, already 12.7 kg). Want something small, lightweight, with reclining positions and a hood or sun visor thing. Have already got a mamas and papas pliko thing so don't need anything like that. Any ideas on model, cost etc??
thanks

I would suggest a maclaren quest, they are very light, have 4 recline positions and a leg rest, a reasonable basket, a pocket on the hood, handy for keys and purse and are sold with raincover.

They are £110 brand new in mothercare, they are on offer on the boots website from £99 up to £109 and you get double boots points or there is ebay where I think they are about £88 for a brand new one.

There are other umbrella light (ish) buggies but I think the maclaren quest is the best of the light ones, the techno xt and xlr are heavier and quite a bit more expensive

Hope that helps

thanks. do you know if there is much difference between the maclaren triumph and quest? am probably going to buy online without trying so ant to gather as many opinions as possible

the triumph doesnt have the adjustable leg rest, doesnt have the reflective bits on the hood, its slightly lighter 0.2kg and its a bit cheapers if you go here you can have a look at the specs of both buggies I personally find the triumph a bit to basic

should a maclaren see me through? Just a bit worried tht is already 12.7kg at 15 mths and the maclarens all go up to 15 kilos? Am a bit ignorant as to how heavy he is likely to be?
