So where do I go for shoes for size 2, high-instepped, wide-footed DS ??

He is 8 and size 2 G/H in Clarks, but I'm aware that he's rapidly getting to a point where I won't be able to buy him shoes from there much longer. He already doesn't like the trainers etc, BUT whenever we try 'regular' trainers in sports shops they are too narrow, or too flat or something!

Any suggestions?

Hiya Legacy

This could be my DS1

The last trainers we got him were Timberland ones from TK Max, couldn't afford to get them full price . They do seem very generous in the width.

The only problem is faffing around in the store, and being 100 percent sure on the fit.

NOt sure if much help, really

dd1 has high insteps and takes a G too - we have just bought her a lovely pair of Geox trainers (about £40 - but she's only had plimmies for PE up till now) which fit her beautifully

Thanks for these - Are Geox known for wider fit Bundle? Where did you find them? There are lots online, but I'ds prefer to go to try them.

Agree Geox is great for wide/high instepped feet.

Also Ricosta.
