I need a waterproof jacket for my 18 month old which is actually waterproof and can only find ones from like £30!!

ds has a next jacket sort of like a pac a mac but in these showers we have it isnt keeping him dry poor thing! Also the hood blows down in the wind and he gets scared of the wind! bless!

So basically need one that wont break the bank, is actually waterproof, and the hood will stay up! Any suggestions?

BTW, have googled and found some great ones but too expensive, also been on ebay, found one but the hood is too tight to do up!

have you thought about one of these? they are great

thanks, yes we have an all in one already which is fab with wellys and when playing/walking but need a jacket for in and out of car/shopping etc. Ds gets quite hot so cant keep getting him in and out of the all in one and leaving him in it in car!

you need muddy puddles.

they are great... they work... and they last almsot for ever.... at leats for lots of wear from several chidlren.

Have a look on ebay and get a 'lightly used' / used for 1 child one and you wont be disappointed

thanks nanny, that is one of them that i found on google, even on ebay they are currently at £17!! Something as important as a waterproof shouldnt cost so much!

muddy puddles ARE worth every penny IMO though.... they last very very well and when your little one has out grown it you should be able to get a similar amount back (rather than throw what has become a 'holey not so waterproof garment' in the bin) so you could think of it as an investment...

it will have a resale value
