If I remember correctly from 3 wheeler whopping the M&P one foedn't have a hand break. That was a must have feature for me. But, I think they are nice looking.

Are you going to use the three wheeler for running/rugged terrain. Or do you just like the look of it?

wanted a three wheeler as they seems sturdier than my umbrella fold - dd is nearly 3 but could be in it till she's 4 / 5 so wanted something sturdy for her

I ended up buying a Mac 3 (Maclaren). It was cheaper than the competition, and I think it does the trick. Although it doesn't fit through all doorways and on all escalators. Narrower ones can be found... but cant think of one off hand.

Personally, for an older child I cant think of wanting anything other than a Maclaren umbrella folding type. But, of course, that's only my humble opinion.

Fairydust- the 03 takes up alot of space when folded...but I imagine it would be very sturdy if you want to use it for up to 4/5. I gave up on mine as at 5'4'' I found the handle too high..even when I had it on the lowest setting....because of the fixed wheel manovrign it etc I got very tired very quick...we then tried a mac three but that was way too wide..wider than others...and awful around town...but it folds nice and small for a three wheeler. We have a bugaboo frog and I wouldn't chage it for the world- but it was pricey £479- I think that will last well until ds is four (I hope he doesn't need it then tho!).

If you want a 3 wheeler maybe look at the instep nipper single...lightweight and sturdy.....

I don't like umberella folds..if it's the slightest bit windy the don't cope well at all on dog walks!! I have one but have not used it at all since getting the frog!

We should have a pram swap and make use of all those prams we no longer use that someone else might make good use of.

I've already given away my M&P pliko (which was damaged by United anyway).

the m&p we are looking at the the one with the swivel wheel but is no longer an option as it only takes up to an 33lb child compared to most others that take up to a 50lb child.
